There's no one else we could have entrusted our ceremony to. An absolute expert that knows exactly how to mix fun and professional. Ronit is able to take whatever random thoughts you have and bring them into not just correct order but beautiful coherence.
Throughout our wedding planning, Ronit was exactly the person we needed in our corner, I lost count of how many times we would be stressing over a detail and she was there to help and offer advice without judgement. It's like having your best mate give you a shake and remind you what matters. Ronit never let us lose sight of the fact it was our day and no one else’s opinion mattered. If you’re sitting like we were, going ‘how on earth are you supposed to pick a humanist/celebrant by looking at a list of names or their social media? How do you even know what they sound like? Will they be dead cheesy? Will our ceremony be boring?’ Know this: Ronit has great chat and will pull together a ceremony for you that is entirely YOU. Nothing will be cheesy or traditional if that’s not what you want.
We didn’t want any ‘gimmicks’ like pouring sand into a bottle or doing a magic handshake with each other (sorry everyone else, I of course mean incredibly meaningful & symbolic gestures) because that just isn’t us. Ronit was totally cool with it. We are quite direct and sarcastic, and wanted some funny stories in our ceremony. Ronit was cool with it. We swear quite a lot - Ronit was also cool with it. In fact possibly encourages it?
As soon as we met with Ronit we knew she was the celebrant for us - really smart, witty and funny. Great banter, very organised and a wonderful story teller. She took all of our stories and crafted them into the perfect ceremony that was really meaningful to us, our friends and family. She was also excellent at including our kids/stepkids in the ceremony in a really engaging way.
Ronit was super laid back throughout the entire process, steered us right every step of the way and did all the heavy lifting for us. Including quite literally negotiating access to the ladies toilet for the groom minutes before the wedding started as she knew this was essential to a successful ceremony! On the day she brought a brilliant energy and kept things chilled - these are the kind of people you need around when you’re about to make some serious vows!
